Notices of Appraised Value were delivered on May 8, 2020 to all property owners.  The last day to file a protest for most properties will be June 8, 2020.  The deadline for mineral properties is May 27, 2020.  As in years past, The Fayette County Appraisal District (FCAD) will continue to discuss issues with property owners informally.  The informal process will be conducted via telephone and email.  If you have a question regarding your value or any other issue, we ask that you please file a formal protest as soon as possible.

Fayette Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Fayette County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).

Fayette Appraisal District is responsible for the fair market appraisal of properties within each of the following taxing entities:
