In addition, the taxpayer liaison officer handles public access and informational matters. The liaison officer also resolves complaints that fall outside the jurisdiction of the appraisal review board. At each regular meeting of the board, the taxpayer liaison officer reports on the number, nature and status of resolution on any complaints.

The TLO also coordinates many administrative matters for the ARB. If you are having some difficulty with the protest system, or have questions concerning the ARB, contact the TLO. If your question cannot be resolved directly, you will receive an appropriate referral to someone who can help you.
